Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS) or Ocarina of Time (N64)

Which is the better choice to get, today?
Ignoring price, does the 3DS version do better, or worse then the original, and if it does do better, how much better does it do, same for if it does worse.
I need an opinion before I go grabbing one, because I want the definitive version of Ocarina of Time.

Any help appreciated.
